The weekend of the Tour of Blackpool. It was held over three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Racing on Friday and Saturday consisted of short crits for all calegories of rider, and the main road event took place on Sunday. Bill's passport was in order so he came down from Scotland to do the racing on Friday and Saturday afternoon. I joined him then to take over for Saturday evening and Sunday.
